Bruny Island is a 100km island made up of a North and a South Island separated by a narrow land bridge called the neck.
The North Island (where Bruny Island Getaway is located) tends to be quieter, and is characterised by rolling hills and sheltered beaches. The North Island hosts the quaint townships of Dennes Point and Great Bay.
The South Island is where you can find most of the tourist attractions, as well as the townships of Alonnah (popular with younger families), Adventure Bay and Lunawanna. It is more rugged, and has dense forests, sheer cliffs, mountains and wild beaches.
Not sure where to start or want to leave the driving to someone else? Bruny Island Safaris offer a fantastic day tour visiting all the main food, wine and nature highlights.
